Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant you will play a lead role in developing and implementing change initiatives that impact organizational performance, including strategy development, leadership behavior, culture change, communications and organizational processes and structures. In cooperation with your manager, you will help design and deliver solutions that may include:

  • Designing/conducting organizational assessments, analyzing data, producing and presenting final reports
  • Improving leadership alignment and team effectiveness through establishing role clarity, structural changes and team building exercises
  • Developing communication strategy and message development
  • Improving communications and HR processes through mapping, analysis, costing and development/implementation of recommendations
  • Improving staff development including the development of competency models, performance management programs, training and development sessions, succession planning programs, etc.
  • Planning and implementing change initiatives

The Senior Consultant is responsible for executing the day-to-day project work of multiple work-streams and multiple clients. The Senior Consultant may provide guidance to other team members to complete the client work including work plan development, deliverable execution and budget management. You will be expected to contribute meaningfully to organizational initiatives such as sales pitches, business development, and thought leadership pieces.

 

Additional Senior Consultant Requirements

Typically our Senior Consultants will have 5 - 8 years of practical experience in organizational and change management consulting, knowledge of business fundamentals, corporate strategy and organizational issues, and the following additional skills and experience:

  • Project management as well as business, practice and people development experience
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to identify and implement appropriate interventions
  • Strong persuasion and team leadership skills

This position requires travel as needed for project work (generally less than 50%)
